Find a parish near you

Enter a city or postal code, with its country. Search opens the independent MassTimes directory in a new tab. Results and schedules appear there.

This site does not save your location or request access to your device location. Selecting Search sends the place you enter to MassTimes. Its privacy practices apply, and your browser or the provider may retain the search.

Once the directory opens

  1. Select Confession, then the day you can attend. For today, check the current local day and time. A church being open does not mean a priest is hearing confessions.
  2. Open the parish’s own website or current bulletin. Check the church address, date, language, and any holiday changes. A directory’s last update date is helpful, but does not confirm this week’s availability.
  3. If times are missing or disagree, call the parish office. Ask about an appointment, a priest who speaks your language, or accessibility arrangements.

No matching listing does not establish that Confession is unavailable. Try a neighboring town, broaden the day filter, or use your diocese’s parish directory.

If the search does not open, visit MassTimes directly and enter the same place. About MassTimes and its directory.

Start with a parish, then confirm the time.

Confession schedules change for holidays, travel, and parish events. A church listing may help you find a parish, but its own current website or office is the best source for this week’s times. You can also ask to make an appointment.

What to ask

  • “When is Confession available this week?”
  • “Can I arrange a longer appointment? It has been a while.”
  • “Is a priest available who speaks my language?”
  • “Is there an accessible room or another accommodation?”

This site does not maintain live parish schedules or provide online sacramental Confession. See why the sacrament requires the appropriate encounter with a priest.
